In 1991 I left the British Army after 10 years of service to enter general industry and then re-trained in software and applied engineering, joining Aquidata Excel in 1998. I progressed within the company to become a senior member of their project delivery team. In December 2005 I was selected from a field of several external candidates to the new position of Service Delivery and Quality Manager for the company. This role entailed managing the resources that deliver its Healthcare and Support services and ensuring end customer satisfaction. In August 2006 I accepted the position of Operations Manager for Aquidata’s new office in Doha, Qatar. My initial role was to set up the office and oversee the installation and commissioning of the OSIsoft PI RTPIMS system for Qatar Petroleum at Mesaieed. The latter aspect of my job shifted mainly to the successful project delivery of the QP RTPIMS system on site at Mesaieed. I joined CSE Controls in August 2008 and immediately deployed the on high profile “Pilgrim” asset transfer project for Shell and TAQA. Deployed in 2009 to British Gas in Reading to work on their Tunisian assets in Sfax to implement PI system for the Hannibal & Hasdrubal plants. Joined the team to upgrade systems for TAQA Bratani’s north sea assets.Joined PAS in April 2011 as Installation and Training engineer.
