I served for 7 years in the Royal Navy working in a number of ships and shore establishments around the world and the UK. The experiences I gained were vast and varied and included working personally for Admiral Sir John Fieldhouse, Commander in Chief of the Fleet, during the Falklands campaign in 1982 and receiving his personal commendation and then being selected and running for the Portsmouth Field Gun Crew in the 1983 Royal Tournament.
