With a strong background in corporate finance, Barry Alexander initially found his niche in the entertainment sector as an investment manager as well as a creative producer. At Terrimel Entertainment, a development company based at Paramount Studios, Barry worked as a development executive and independent producer. Barry has been an integral part of bringing a wide range of development and equity financing to many high profile projects including Man Down (Shia LeBeouf, Kate Mara, Gary Oldman), Reagan (Dennis Quaid, Penelope Ann Miller), and multiple projects with Stone Village Productions with another 20+ projects in various stages of development and finance consulting. In Jan 2016, he orchestrated the funding and purchase of the sales/distribution company Lightning Entertainment, a foreign distribution sales company for feature films with 300+ titles, where he ran corporate strategy and finance. Barry is currently an Executive Producer on two health-based documentaries in production with Stone Village Productions (Station Eleven) and Healing Humanity Productions, while consulting for multiple startups on their financial and business development/growth strategies.Additionally, during the shutdown of the entertainment sector during the onset of the COVID19 pandemic, Barry helped form and is an ongoing managing partner of B&D Imports, helping alleviate supply shortages on various PPE, and bulk raw goods and commodities. B&D proudly grew to a multi-million dollar business in less than 12 months of formation. B&D only pursues bulk purchase opportunities from known entities on easily vetted commodity transactions.
