I was responsible for locking in the locations, recruiting, negotiating & hiring of all instructors & event staff. This included contract and insurance requirements as well as eliciting event content for recap post. Corresponded with City of Seattle Parks to ensure permits and site requirements were locked in. Followed up with site inspections to create “day-of” maps for staff, instructors and attendees from LifeWise and Weber Shandwick. Also managed all of the “day-of” activities to ensure a seamless experience for all attendees. Worked with all levels of PR firm to promote, grow and report on each series of events to learn from past mistakes to anticipate future issues. This position required a tremendous amount of on-the-go thinking and adapting to shortened deadlines and other logistical issues arising from putting on a series of grassroots, free-invite events.

Managed the roll-out and launch of a new GPS product for the commercial trucking & building industry. Responsible for all on-site logistics, including managing the team.I had to learn, in two weeks’ time, a year’s worth of material and training before moving on to live customer demonstrations all over the US. It was an intensive week and a half full of cramming technical jargon and then I flew to San Jose, rented a car and drove to Monterey where I spent the next two days on garbage trucks learning to install the product. At four am the next day I flew to Houston where I then trained 800 people on product installation technique.Traveled to remote sites (Texas, Calif., North Carolina, and Oklahoma) to set up display and demonstrations on a Beta technology which worked about 75% of the time.
