I have been working with Evros Technology Group for more than five years now, supporting a wide variety of Corporate and Enterprise customers with their IT needs. We also provide IT services and critical web site monitoring for several Government departments and Inter-Governmental bodies.A large part of the focus of this company is the Cloud environment,and our NOC directly monitor the Digital Planet private and mutli-tier enviornments. Digital Planet is our sister company.We are a Gold partner for the re-sale of VMWare products.We are also approved re-seller for a variety of other Software and Hardware applications and companies.We support all Windows Server versions, and we fully manage backups, software\hardware configuration, disaster recovery and data replication for our customers. Based in the CherryWood NOC as well as our NOC at the InterXion data centre, it is a varied job with a lot of exposure to new technologies. Part of the job also involves providing hands and eyes support for customers with hardware in either of the 2 InterXion Data Centres at Park West. This can mean troubleshooting connectivity or power issues for customers, managing a customers daily backup to tape schedule, installing RAM\SDCards and preparing racks for future hardware deployments.Previously I worked for over 2 years in the Pocket Kings (Full Tilt Poker) NOC,and prior to that I was an ISP Network Analyst with the AOL UK Networks Operation Group for almost 10 years.
