Led commercial efforts for Lurgi North American energy (refining, renewables (ethanol and biodiesel), gas processing), chemicals (petro and oleo), Agri-processing, and other process industries in North and Central America. Managed key relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Assist in the corporate development and execution of North America marketing plans. Interface with the global sales team and developed and coordinated projects with key accounts on a global basis. ● Exceeded annual sales plan goals, with largest year order intake of $540 million (largest project $120M). ● Lead/participated on efforts on project finance deals by working with lenders, developers, and parent company to structure deals for equity investments, build own operate finance models, and/ or subordinated debt.● Led efforts for value-add product development in the renewable space utilizing Lurgi R&D center.● Led commercial negotiations with lenders, partners, end users in conjunction with corporate risk board on various types of project supply agreements including off take agreements on projects we were involved with financing on. ● Led cross functional teams of engineers, commercial management, construction, risk board members for the successful development of financed executed contracts, and/or license agreements. ● Represented company at industry events, thought leadership presentations (such as)- ‘Meeting the energy needs of our future’ , highlighting key technologies in our renewable portfolio, bio-methane, hydrogen, methanol.● Involved in proposal development and management of Lurgi Hydrogen Third Party sales efforts.● Involved in proposal development and management of Air Liquide ASU projects.● Led value add development and sales efforts for bio-methane conversion to power for renewable projects.
