I am Managing Director of Carter Ventures Ltd, my own business that provides board advisory and special projects services to exciting businesses, and also a NED/investor in fast growing software businesses.Prior to that I was a Partner at KPMG in the UK for some 22 years, and led the EMA Technology sector team for Deal Advisory. I have over twenty five years experience of deals and advising boards with a particular focus on Innovation, Technology and Private Equity backed businesses. I have significant cross border experience having worked on some of the largest and most complex deals within the sector over the last ten or so years.I am a trustee of a local outdoor education charity providing financial support to disadvantaged children, and a guest lecturer on M&A/FDD to University of Oxford post-grad courses.Outside of work, I am married with one daughter (aged 28) and compete occasionally on my horses
