His entrepreneur spirit being kindled after he was asked to provide management services for two local vocalists. His deep desire to provide best practices led him a course of study offered by the UWI. This continuous thrust for music industry knowledge continued when he got the chance to attend one of the powerful music conference hosted by the bible of entertainment, Billboard (billboard symposium 2009) Taking the bold step to partner with Trh.inc based in NYC he was introduced to Peter Headley, Barbadian music manager who after seeing his drive, tenacity, undertook the task of mentorship. This fusion of business entities led to the "Setting up Your own Table" business series .This undertaking provide the opportunity to the management and development of Alexander Mills singer/songwriter & guitarist and Corey Applewhaithe drummer performing as Alex & Corey.With the introduction of artist development services to its portfolio, Odyssey was able to interface and engage the services of various industry professionals to help grow and buildTo name a few Songentrepuener Amanda Williams who help nurture, guide and professionalize the writings skills of its clients, Tom Jackson's performance workshops and ASCAP showcases.With the advent of streaming and Digital Service Platform ( DSPs), that change the model of the music and entertainment landscape. Odyssey focused on development of catalog and publishing upgrades, introducing metadata services to better capitalize on bigger and better revenue and income streams. Adding event coverage and social media exposure has place the company in the best of positions to go forward into the new music and entertainment platforms.
