Barry Davidson is the Managing General Partner.I have decided to suspend the Fund's operations effective 12/31/13. It was a difficult decision for me to make having invested over 10 years of my professional life and a lot of money into my quantitative System. However, I believe it is in everyone’s best interest and is the proper action to take at this time. Many people besides myself have now come to the full realization that the FED is the equity and bond market maker with their QE operation (printing of money to buy their own debt). Furthermore, I believe they will continue that market making role into the foreseeable future with the confirmation of the new FED chairperson. In fact, one of the smartest people I know told me two years that QE was out of the FED’s bag and was not going back in anytime soon. I had just hoped that he was wrong.My System requires a natural occurring equity and bond market to be successful and we do not have that situation at play with the FED’s buying of our government’s bonds. Their impact on the markets is further magnified with their zero interest rate policy which forces investors to take on more risk in hopes of a return on their monies.At this point in time I am reviewing all of my career options including starting an educational nonprofit of my own.
