I lead Every Body Moves powered by Toyota for ParalympicsGB.Every Body Moves is co-produced and designed to champion inclusion and empower disabled people to become more active. I am responsible for the strategic direction of the programme and have effectively embedded co-production and a collaborative approach to our objectives. Embracing working in partnership with other organisations. I led on a programme rebrand ensuring the lived experience of the disabled community was at the heart of it. Resulting in a new brand with 100% positive sentiment on social media and one which resonates with a broader audience.

I launched a sports coaching company after graduating from university. This involved business planning, networking, pitching to potential investors, financial forecasting, recruiting and managing staff, promotion and marketing and the fundamental delivery of the vision of the company which is “To start developing at an early age, equality, inclusion, technical improvement, teamwork and fair play through sport and the Activ8Kids programme.” Starting this company was a huge learning curve for me and set the foundations of my work ethic and drive at the outset of my career. It has achieved so much and continues to do so today, albeit with a very light touch from me as I focus on my career away from the business. Some of Activ8Kids Ltd. Key achievements include:- Driving improved standards in local PE and sporting events- Delivering a multitude of activities to 2000+ children each week.- Mentoring employees to progress towards their career goals.- Sustaining and building a viable business over 14+ years.

OpenActive helps to tackle the problem of inactivity by helping its community members to publish standardised open data on physical activities and to promote innovation in making it easier to find and book these opportunities online.The Steering Committee acts as the board of OpenActive, taking a long-term and broad view in order to set and carry out the strategy of the initiative.

The Squad is based in Wimbledon and runs Thursday night clubs for people with learning disabilities. Our club nights are fun-packed and educational and our members enjoy socialising with their friends whilst also trying out new experiences. Our members are the most important part of The Squad. They help to the run the clubs, vote on what we should include in our activity programmes and are involved in decisions about The Squad's future. The Squad is a Charitable incorporated organisation; and it is affiliated to Mencap and London Youth. We also work in partnership with a wide range of organisations that help improve our services.
