Barry Dorf has worked in the games industry for more than 25 years. He's currently the VP of Global Licensing and Business Development at Hasbro. Barry used to be the head of business development covering North America and EMEA for Amazon Game Tech. Covering a wide variety of gaming products and services on AWS, including Lumberyard, GameLift and GameSparks. Previously, he was Vice President of strategic partnerships and business development at DeNA where he was responsible for initiating and fostering the relationships between a range of licensing partners such as Disney, Hasbro and the NFL. Dorf’s role also included conducting external developer outreach to enhance DeNA’s portfolio of games. Prior to that at DeNA, Dorf was the Senior Director of Third Party at the company where he oversaw third party for DeNA’s Mobage gaming platform in the West. He's launched over 50 third-party games and supervised development of the Mobage Developer Portal. Prior to DeNA, Barry co-founded the social gaming network, GameStrata, and he spent 12 years at Electronic Arts working on the Madden NFL video game franchise and the Pogo platform.A seasoned speaker at industry events, Dorf has previously spoken at a range of conferences including Apps World, Casual Connect, Game Developers Conference (GDC), NY Games Conference, and Pocket Gamer's Mobile Mixer.
