I have worked for a large corporation for 33 years. The company I worked for, like many companies, changed hands many times over that period. Consequently, there were more and more cost cutting measures with each new acquisition, which resulted in job losses, and others who did not lose their job having to pick up the slack. Many find this a source of frustration, but one benefit from this widespread practice is the opportunity to gain a wide spectrum of experience!Aside from exposure to corporate work practices and management processes, my experience has been in the following areas. My goal is to be able to utilize this experience in a new position with a company looking for seasoned talent! - Inventory Control - IRA process owner, responsible for maintaing cycle counting process, managing cross functional team of counters, and assessing inventory accuracy of counted material versus ERP system (SAP) inventory, and reconciling differences.- Quality system management (managed auditing staff of 8 auditors. Auditing to ISO standard).- IT support for network and end user workstations.- SAP (R3) super user in areas of QM and MOE, instrumental in pilot rollout of SAP R3.- Web development.- Quality Control Lab - wet chemistry and instrumental analysis.Specialties: Very good communication skills, with attention to detail and message content. Have experience in writing procedures, report writing and developing web sites (not only HTML, but the content presented). I am also very competent with use of computers (hardware, software and troubleshooting), having worked as the IT support person for a site with 100 users, for three years.
