Social media and digital influence have fundamentally shifted the way people connect with each other and the things they love and consume. For all the technological trickery available, this is an age of authenticity and meaningful connections. What makes any product or personal brand, small business or social organisation more prized is the way it aligns with a compelling narrative, shared values and engaging content. Metrics, algorithms and strategic planning are critical. But it’s the compelling story and visual content that shapes perceptions, sparks inspiration and makes a lasting impression. If you want your audience to love what you do, you have to keep the romance alive. I’m a freelance copywriter and social media content strategist with a keen eye, creative intelligence and strong self-starter work ethic. Through a varied career working for corporate clients, creative entrepreneurs and small businesses, I’ve managed projects involving content creation, brand messaging, graphic design and art direction. I’m also a published author, happy blogger, frequent ghost-writer, narrative storyteller, personal brand messenger and small business champion. In the past, I’ve been a gallery curator, corporate art consultant, independent art director and event manager. Whatever my hat, marketing is at the heart of everything I do - building communities based on positive attributes, creative energy, shared experiences and inspiring content. I’m also an advocate for social responsibility and have focused my time and skills to help build revenue and awareness for causes I believe in. Always happy to connect with potential new clients and employment opportunities - or just a good conversation.
