I managed partner relationships from C-level to Product to Engineering. To accelerate our solution velocity, I built a data service framework dev team in India. I also managed our partner architect/engineering team in the USA.

Inventor of the first commercial low power ARM server for massive scale out computing. Backed by ARM, Battery Ventures, Highland Capital, Flybridge Capital, Abu Dhabi's ATIC, Vulcan Capital, and Austin Ventures.I founded Calxeda in 2008 to develop a solution for massive scale-out server workloads that were constrained by available space and power. Calxeda leveraged the virtues of low power cell phone technology combined with our own unique innovation to introduce scale-out micro-server architecture and ARM server products to the industry.I bootstrapped this crazy idea. Then, alongside an incredible management team, we raised $100M and developed great technology into novel products. We were the inaugural launch technology for the first generation HP Moonshot platform called Redstone among other brave visionary customers and partners all over the world. We played a catalytic role in the industry groundswell to rethink computing architecture around efficiency.Besides being a hands-on CEO, I personally drove product planning, market strategy and strategic customer relationships. In the early days, I also kept the books and took out the trash. :-)

$300M Xscale Application Processor P&L with custom ARM processor-based System-on-Chip products targeting the handheld and cellular markets. Xscale ranked as the #1 2007 revenue market share leader in smartphones based upon Linux, Microsoft Pocket PC, and PalmOS and was #2 in the overall market.

Marvell acquired the business from Intel in late 2006.

Directed roadmap, product planning, product marketing, and system engineering for the Xscale SoC product line focused on cell phones (Intel's custom ARM-based CPU).

Established a vertical organizational model to drive planning, enabling, and marketing across multiple telecom infrastructure business units with several target markets. Product lines included general purpose processors, network processors, DSP's, transceivers, server and I/O ATCA blades, software, and associated ecosystem. This was the solution level design win engine for market maker customers that linked complementary products into higher value design wins and influenced Telecom OEM system architecture. Segments included wireless infrastructure, broadband access, enterprise edge, and telecom server.
