Five years ago, I was in real estate when the R.E. market crashed! I was also experiencing a life-changing event and needed returned to a salaried position. I loved working in the R.E. market for the years that I did and am thrilled to have been able to return to R.E. in August, 2015. Being Director of Music at FUMC, San Angelo is a return to the work and ministry I love. I came to San Angelo after teaching in Brownsville, TX and taking a brief time off to re-energize before coming here. I have marvelous musicians who are committed to the Lord, His Church and the ministry of music in our church.I also have the honor of singing with the San Angelo Chamber Singers - one very fine ensemble of singers!Beginning an instrumental ensemble has been a wonderful experience - to hear a 7th grade flutist say she can hardly wait to get to rehearsal and a gentlemen in his 70's interested in renewing his playing days in support of his church and to honor the Lord is a milestone for me!Recently, I became a member of the Twin Mountain Tonesmen Barbershop Chorus in San Angelo - a great group of men who love to sing Barbershop and have such a fantastic time together!Thanks be to the Lord Almighty for this wonderful opportunity in San Angelo!

I was a Minister of Music for many years in the Southern Baptist Convention church before the split led me away to Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. My skills range from Worship Leader to Pianist/Accompanist to Guitarist to Soloist to Conductor (choirs; ensembles; orchestras).
