My training and experience include behavioral threat assessment and various structured professional judgment tools.I have also served as Senior Advisor to the Minister, Justice & Solicitor General as well as serving as Chief of Staff to the Assoc. Minister of Public Safety & Regional Recovery & Reconstruction after the 2013 floods in Alberta.I am most proud of the extensive work I have done in the not-for-profit realm in the areas of homelessness, veterans and community safety. I bring more than 3 decades of Board and front line experience to the table as well as a significant amount of experience in advising organizations on governance and organizational sustainability.A certified CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) Practitioner I hold a Diploma in Police Sciences (Honors) with a background in criminal psychology, I have been recognized as a ritual abuse/cult expert by Cult Awareness Network and received the President's Award from ISCPP as well as recognition from the City of Calgary CCIT for my work in the inner city. I am also the co-founder and a Board Director of the International CPTED Association.
