Hired to manage and maintain the legacy Order Processing system “Pegasus.” Reported to the CIO and managed the Business Systems Analysts of Distribution, Finance & HR and Special Invoicing. Worked closely with the CFO, Controller, and Vice Presidents from all facets of the company, as well as most members of the IT department. Designed and implemented:• A Product Substitution application which increased company Gross Profit.• An automated truck manifesting system which eliminated the need for manual rekeying of package counts, resulting in more efficient customer deliveries, and improved accuracy.• Lead redesign of our invoice documents, coordinated outsourcing of redesigned documents and implementation of a lockbox process, increasing overall efficiency of cash posting department.Other activities included:• IT Work stream Lead and Project team member at large, to replace Pegasus with a Microsoft Dynamics AX based ERP system.• Part of the committee formed to analyze and re-organize the IT department, as part of that restructuring the Manager, IT Operations position was created.

Placed by KForce under contract to complete Y2K conversion for mission-critical Clipper database applications, originally internally scheduled for 6-8 months, but completed in 3 months. Engagement was extended several times to maintain, enhance and troubleshoot these and various other applications in Clipper, Visual Basic 3, 4, & 6, and Paradox 4.5. When the PERFORM project was initiated, was transferred to its project team.

USTeleCenters is a telemarketing and outside sales force based reseller of long distance and teleconferencing phone services. Phone systems and video conferencing equipment was also specified, sold, installed and serviced. The company has since changed ownership and relocated to Quincy MADuring a merger, was asked by the then President to join the company full-time to lead the assimilation of the disparate systems and staffs of the two companies into one cohesive solution. Implemented a helpdesk, which ultimately supported over 300 employees in 12 offices nationwide. Reported to the CFO, and was responsible for departmental budget and strategic planning. Worked closely with senior management to analyze, design, and implement information systems to meet the changing business requirements.
