I am an experienced IT leader, advisor and consultant who engages at all levels throughout the business. With over 15 years of experience in tackling complex information and business technology problems; whilst building deep relationships with my colleagues and clients, I use frameworks such as ITIL and TOGAF in practical ways to drive success and add value to any situation.Until recently, I led a team of solution architects, business analysts and project managers focusing on critical areas which included; solution development, operational/financial optimisation, outsourcing, collaboration, process optimisation, technology awareness and improving security management. I use IT trends around digital, cloud, mobile, data and security with effective use of methods, such as Agile and DevOps; to translate business problems into IT solutions. It is my job to become a trusted advisor to the business, a strong leader to my team and to positively influence decision makers. A self-motivated and adaptable individual with extensive knowledge and experience of the global IT market, I seek to work with organisations that are looking to change by adopting relevant technology. I am an influential leader, who looks to challenge the status quo by earning trust, using effective communication and utilising my experience in defining and executing strategy. I enjoy working with teams that encourage collaboration and discuss the difficult topics that are critical to success. I focus on bringing energy and passion to all roles and situations. I have a BSc (Hons) in Computer Studies and have recently completed formal leadership development training that focused on strategy, operations and financial management - giving me an opportunity to further improve my presentation and people leadership skills. To identify my blind spots in my personal development, I have also completed two LSI (Life Styles Inventory) interpersonal circumplexes. I am currently studying for my TOGAF certification.
