I have experience in the planning and implementation of infosec and large networking projects having worded form planning though to implementation of several large telecommunications projects ( focused on the Mobile operator space) in Indonesia, Thailand, South Africa, UK, Ireland, Israel, Australia and New Zealand.Part of these deployments was the development of a custom firewalling solution specific to the needs of the mobile operators and client companies concerned.Training has been given over a number of years on IP technologies and Next Generation Network's to the Incumbent Telco and Mobile operators in South Africa. As an academic I'm actively involved in emerging threats and infosec research, and have published in this field.Specialties: TCP/IP and related network Layer2/Layer3 technologies. Next Generation Networks. Systems Administration - Linux/ FreeBSD. Firewall and network architecture design and implementation.
