Inventor and patent holder for numerous niche products including MRI Patient Stereo System, Reversible Prism Glasses, Disposable Headphone Covers, Disposable microphone covers, single-ear wired headphones and earphones for people with single-sided-deafness and hearing loss in one ear.At an early age, I experimented in electronics, built radios & became a licensed Amateur Radio operator at the age of 16. I worked my way through college and later graduated with two degrees. As a Biomedical Engineer I earned the AAMI certification as a CBET. I worked as a Clinical Engineer in Toledo, Ohio for a16 hospital shared service.Medical Engineering Consultants (MEC) Birmingham, Alabama in 1979. I specialized in Diagnostic Ultrasound systems and in my spare time I trained to become a private pilot. I was promoted to be a District Service Manager and was transferred to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1980 to open the Florida office. I flew all over the state in a private airplane, installing and servicing diagnostic ultrasound systems. Later, I hired personnel, provided training and used an airplane to provide management, training and technical support. Diasonics, Inc., a manufacturer of Diagnostic Ultrasound, MRI and C-Arm systems, bought out MEC in 1979.I was honored to have been chosen to go to Israel and install/train Service Engineers on Diagnostic Ultrasound Systems. Later, I was selected to become an MRI Engineer, as the company was expecting huge growth in MRI sales. I was assigned to a new Mobile MRI and as I learned the service issues, I wrote technical papers, user guides and troubleshooting flowcharts which later became the basis for the company’s field service manuals. As a result, I was known in the company as “Mister Documentation”.As an Eastern US Regional Tech Specialist, I traveled extensively, starting up new mobile MRI units while providing training/support to field engineers. While watching numerous patients abort scans due to claustrophobia, I came up with ideas on how to help ease patient anxiety. This led me to invent the first MRI Patient Stereo Sound system in 1986.In 1999 I went to work for Internet Billing Co, and ascended thru the ranks to become the company's Director of Intellectual Property. The iBill patents and trademarks were valued at $20 Million when iBill sold for over $75 Million in 2002.After that I worked extensively on building Scan Sound from 20 products in 2002 to over 225 products by 2021. Scan Sound Inc. is well known as a leader in eCommerce in B-toB and B-to-C sales worldwide.
