With over 40 years of experience in international tax and corporate finance, Barry is a retired partner of PwC, one of the world's largest professional services firms. He has advised multinational clients on complex tax matters, including transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. He also worked 7 years with PwC Hong Kong, where he became a partner in 1992, and gained valuable insights into the Asian market and culture.Since retiring from PwC in 2016, Barry has been actively involved in the corporate and non-profit sectors, serving as the chair of the board of directors of Truvera Trust & Mortgage, a leading provider of trust and mortgage solutions, and the Simon Fraser University UniverCity Real Estate Trust, a visionary community development project. He is also a past chair (2018/19) of the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC, the regulatory body for the accounting profession in the province. Barry is passionate about sharing his expertise and leadership skills with organizations that make a positive impact on society and the environment.
