Coco's Barrio began as a series of bi-lingual live on-stage radio productions including dramatic skits, live music and arts features created and produced by Teatro del Pueblo in St. Paul, MN. My role included coordinating audio production; engineering live radio simulcasts; performing sound effects on stage. Now the show is produced as a podcast series of original content. I associate produce the podcast, record all show elements, do the sound design and edit the show.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

As a contractor, coordinated the implementation of two grant-funded projects. One researching and writing scripts for eight short videos featuring neighborhood history and spotlighting the historic preservation of specific properties. The other completing the second phase of a domestic archaeology dig behind a historic home in St. Paul – coordinating volunteer teams and a professional archaeologist to research, document, and curate found objects. I produced a video with the archaeologist highlighting the process and findings of the dig.

Worked in collaboration with the long-standing volunteer staff to bring about the next phase of WEQY's evolution as the "Voice of the East Side." Coordinated WEQY's participation in the neighborhood's Our Town planning grant awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). Created a community audio storytelling and production workshop series for youth and adults. Developed podcast production program and produced several podcast series.

Developed and supported Drupal websites for nonprofits and businesses. Assisted agencies in providing better service to their clients. Mentored freelance web developers in business development as well as technical Drupal skills. Co-created, organized, and facilitated local Drupal community workshop and open-space conference.

Utilized Drupal CMS software to develop and sustain online communities for non-profit organizations and businesses. Developed training curricula and conducted formal professional training courses and workshops. Invited speaker at several international DrupalCon conferences and local conferences such as DrupalCamp Twin Cities and the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits Technology conference. Helped organize and host national Drupal conference in Twin Cities annually for 3 years while at Advantage Labs.

The Twin Cities Media Alliance brought together media professionals and engaged citizens to improve the quality, accountability and diversity of the local media. Our local news website, the Twin Cities Daily Planet, http://tcdailyplanet.net/, combined original reporting by citizen journalists with the best of the neighborhood and community press. Served separate terms as both Vice President and Treasurer during my tenure.

Helped develop creative and logistical aspects of downtown, location-specific, collaborative summer outdoor urban performance arts event. Connected with community members interested in performing. Served as artistic lead for group of performing "Ragtag Roamers."
