Jersey Shore United is a 501(c)3 nonprofit operating up and down the Jersey Shore. Our "Operation Hope Chest" program delivers a large 73 Gallon Deck box FULL of all the house wares a family would need moving back into their home or temporary housing when impacted by a disaster, night one. JSU also meets families who have resources but are STUCK in the middle of restoring their home because of life, full time employment, staying with families at a distance, being able to afford the supplies but not the labor, etc. If qualified JSU will come in with skilled volunteers and some limited funding and finish them up. Jersey Shore United will only take on construction projects that we know are able to get the family done and IN. We take our donor funding very seriously and are good stewards of all financial and labor support we are blessed with. Because JSU works within the faith based community the vetting process and decision making process is fast. A family can expect a yes or no decision in under 14 days. JSU is always accepting financial support and we are totally transparent and share documentation of all expenditures to serious potential donors. We are always looking for volunteers, skilled and unskilled to help us get families back home.
