I served as the Consulate's Deputy Head of Mission responsible for this broad region. This area makes up 42% of all global foreign direct investment into Ireland. The focus of the mission was trade heavy though my other primary responsibilities included all Consular, Political, Press, Cultural, Community, Co-Operation and Protocol affairs in the region.
