Manage the financial affairs at company as well as perform as Director of Component Engineering. Presently manage Parts Materials and Processes (PMAP) on Satellite programs and Missile Avionics. PMAP activities include Radiation Effects Analysis,Test and Environment flowdown, Quality, Reliability and other Mission Assurance (MA) activities.

Overall responsibility is for determining and maintaining the reliability of components and systems used in space and missile applications. Recently performed as component engineer contractor specializing in radiation effects survivability for Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Quality and Safety (QS) during implementation of MDA Parts, Materials, and Processes (PMAP) Mission Assurance Plan for MDA Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) program.

Task Manager for numerous radiation test and evaluation programs. Responsiblefor evaluation of radiation susceptibility of EEE parts, materials, and processes used inATK Launch Vehicles (ALV) and Orbital Sciences Corporation Boost Vehicle.

EEE parts program Task Manager for LEO and GEO Satellite programs. TheOrbital EEE parts program management included responsibility for: 1) establishment ofquality, screening, and reliability levels for EEE parts and materials per programrequirements; 2) maintenance of parts and materials listings; 3) development ofreliability and component test procedures and plans; 4) performance of reliabilityanalysis, component qualification, and screening tests for EEE parts, materials, andprocesses; 5) generation of space radiation environments; 6) evaluation of proposals,program costs, and contractual requirements for EEE parts and materials to assesstechnical risks versus the mission requirements; 7) engineering support for FlightAssurance Managers, Design Engineers, Procurement Agents, and Program Managers inthe selection and evaluation of all EEE parts and materials and the development ofrelevant engineering documentation; and 8) resolution of EEE parts, materials, andprocesses problems arising during manufacturing, testing, and integration of spacecraft.Orbital Satellite Programs worked were Orbview 3 & 4, NSTAR I and II, PANAMSAT Iand II, RadarSat, and IndoStar.

Contracted to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Parts EngineeringBranch to maintain project parts list to ensure quality, reliability, and radiation toleranceof EEE parts and materials. Work was performed for Project Flight Assurance Engineerson NASA satellites Landsat-7, TRMM, and Cassini.

Developed and managed radiation effects test programs leading to successfuldevelopment of first 0.5 micron Radiation Hardened CMOS 1 M SRAM and preceding64K and 256K CMOS SRAM architectures for Defense Threat Reduction Agency(DTRA). Developed test plans and performed radiation effects testing on various digitalsemiconductor devices for NASA Space Station Freedom program. Performed as aprincipal investigator on a multi-year Independent Research and Development (IR&D)contract that resulted in a preferred parts list for COTS semiconductor devicetechnologies and developed procedures to guide their use and evaluate their performancein adverse environments.
