At Built by Warriors we use the staff ride historical study method to train your leadership teams from front line managers to managers of managers to the C-suite. Staff Rides are conducted by the the United States Army for the purpose of training its leaders to analyze the command decisions from historic battlefields and apply lessons learned to fit the needs of the modern army such as showing the" human dimension of the-“face of battle” At Built by Warriors, we teach the same process through a civilian lens so that you can apply lessons learned to your business such as the human dimension of the face of corporate decision making.

Strategic Leadership Developed a Principal Advisory Council for students to give feedback and offer suggestions on how to improve their experience at school.Supervised the development and implementation of the district's Alternative to Long Term Suspension program (ALTS).Instructional Leadership Implemented math and reading Response to Intervention (RTI),Facilitated PLC by restructuring the master schedule to provide all subject matter teachers with common planning.Led the staff through the district's 1:1 laptop deployment.Cultural LeadershipIncreased the staff's ability to appropriately assess, deescalate, intervene, and process issues related to student/teacher conflict by providing cultural awareness training.Developed strategies to reduce student out of school suspensions (OSS). I served my country for over 25 years in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve. My military service includes two combat deployments to Iraq in 2004 and again in 2008. as a Civil Affairs officer. While assigned to the 425th Civil Affairs Battalion in 2004, we were attached to Multi-National Force Northwest (11th ACR) in Mosul where I served as Deputy Director Governorate Transition team (GTT). The GTT was the predecessor to the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT). It was my job to facilitate training for the newly elected Ninewa Provincial Council so they could learn how to govern their people in a democratic form of government for the first time in their history.While assigned to the 445th Civil Affairs Battalion in 2008, we were attached to Multi-national Division Central (10th Mtn Div) in Baghdad where I served as the unit's Economic Team Chief. I was responsible for coordinating and initiating employment and housing activity for the nine provinces south of Baghdad.
