I am a persistent and resourceful application developer with experience in mainframe, web development, and database technologies. I have been involved in many interesting projects. I most recently have been responsible for troubleshooting and root cause determination for production support.I worked at Highmark and HM Health Services (a subsidiary of Highmark Health) for 18 years. I started out as an entry-level programmer analyst mainly working with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS. We had PowerBuilder training, but I did not do a lot of PowerBuilder coding. I was promoted to programmer analyst 2 in less than two years. I had some great projects. I applied for and was awarded the rank of programmer analyst 3 a few months before I entered the first Java boot camp. I mainly did production support for the Highmark corporate web portals for another five years. This time also included Oracle PLSQL and Linux script maintenance. At some point our titles were reworked and I became an application developer. I spent about two years doing mainframe and Teradata work before reorganized into an exclusively production (and critical test region) support role.
