Longbow Crew Trainer Operations

Huntsville, Alabama Area

Serves as a Longbow SME and training instructor. Primary duties include instruction for the Longbow Manned and Unmanned Teaming Level 2 (MUMT-2) UAS system. Operates, trains, and instructs as well as provides Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC) to the MUMT Aircrew Training Aid (ATA) equipment in support of D and E Model Apache. Travels to fielding.

Design, develop, manage, conduct and evaluate complex, specialized technical operator (pilot) training for Apache AH-64D/E aircraft and derivatives for US and international customers employing a systematic methodology and instructional technology. Train aircraft operator.

AAR-57 Common Missile Warning System New Equipment Training Instructor. Served as a Logistics Management Specialist for Program Management Office Aircraft Survivability Equipment (PMO-ASE) to support the U. S. Army Integrated Electronic Warfare Systems (IEWS) Project Management Office.

Served as aviation subject matter expert in support of the Task Order Project Lead for the AED Apache Division. Provide practical experience and expertise to conduct and deliver courses of action and provide analysis of current programs and modifications. Assisted in the development of Aviation Safety Action Messages, Aviation Maintenance Action Messages.

Assigned as an AH-64A/D Instructor Pilot responsible for the training and evaluation of 20 plus AH-64 pilots assigned for worldwide contingencies in both Attack and Reconnaissance missions.

Ft. Rucker, Alabama

Managed all academic and computer-based instruction for the US Army's Apache Longbow pilot qualification courses. Managed 8 instructors who trained 400+ graduate-level student pilots per year in the AH-64D Longbow.

Unit IP and taught Aviator Qualification Course at Ft. Rucker, Alabama and Mesa, Arizona. Deployed Desert Shield/Desert Storm with 24th Infantry Division.

Assisted in maintenance test flights, performed ground maintenance runs and recovered aircraft from precautionary landings in the field and instructed maintenance ground crew on various ground run tasks.

AeroMedical Pilot, qualified in Eurocopter AS-350 BA at the factory. Flew medical evacuation in the southeastern US. Also US Army AMEDD qualified and flew UH-1V's.

Managed and developed Training System Programs and Interactive Multimedia Instructional courseware for the U S Army's AH-64D Longbow and AH-64A Apache aircraft qualification programs.

Served as medical Evacuation pilot with the Army reserve in the metro Atlanta,Georgia area before going active duty to fly AH-64 Apaches.

Surveillance and weapons technician working with the TPS-43E Radar system, tracking and coordinating flight operations. Two tours in 1983 with Operation ELF ONE in Saudia Arabia.
