As an experienced finance and marketing professional with proven success, I am well-positioned to contribute to the achievement of meaningful results for a mission-driven organization for the remainder of my career.I have been a financial advisor for over fifteen years, most recently with CUSO Financial Services and with Cambridge Investment Research and Financial West Group before that. I have been responsible for obtaining new clients, portfolio management, financial and retirement planning and managing my practice. I was also the Non-OSJ Branch Manager for the Cambridge Takoma Park office. In that capacity, I managed office functions and ensured that compliance and audit policies and procedures were maintained.Most importantly, my primary focus throughout my career as a financial advisor has been in socially and environmentally responsible investing. I have long believed in the power of investment and wealth-building to bring about positive social change and wish to continue my commitment to this work. I also have an extensive background in corporate and nonprofit marketing. In previous positions as a marketing manager, I have managed a variety of products and programs across several industries. In addition to traditional marketing activities, my responsibilities have included budget and vendor oversight, financial analysis, and sales implementation and support. My degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University has also provided me with a strong foundation in the financial, marketing and nonprofit arenas.Because of my extensive experience, I firmly believe that I would be a great asset to an organization that needs a successful financial and marketing executive.
