CCW (Contract Cell Works) of SAIL(Steel Authority of India Limited)Responsible for Contract management of Steel plant located at Rourkela, Odisha. Responsible for efficient contract administration through consolidation of contracts, vendor rationalization, and alternate vendor development to reduce the vendor base as well as bring in savings from the last purchase price through effective negotiation/renegotiation.  Preparation of commercial tendering documents for the various packages involved in long-term service contracts finalization and Annual Rate Contract Finalization for service procurement. Developing clean sheet costing to derive the price reference and accordingly developing strategies to ensure contracts are awarded to competent vendors at bare minimum prices. Understanding the nitty-gritty of contract performance management through systematic and balanced scorecard mechanism. Utilizing E Auctions as a tool to reduce costs and increase transparency. Periodically reviewing the relative performance of vendors on agreed Service level agreements to improve competitiveness. Ensure high-quality service levels are consistently delivered and ensure timely closure of any procurement-related issues. Developing strategy, KPI, and follow-up plans for contracts facilitating efficient and cost-effective execution. Procurement as per Service Level Agreement. Coordination with client for smooth operation. Reduction of “PR to PO” Cycle time. Ensuring timely delivery of material. Well versed in SAP MM Module & Microsoft office. Monthly department MIS preparation.

 Concerned with the Strategic Procurement & Inventory control of all plant related Equipment &Spares. Finalization of both Annual Rate Contract & Annual Maintenance Contract wherever required. Strategic planning for procurement, according to production planning & market conditions. Handling of Projects and procurement of Project Materials. Substitute development of OEM’s Material through Sample, Drawing or arranging Vendor’s plantvisit resulting to cost benefit as well as make barrier to OEM’s monopoly. Efficiently performed Negotiations with vendors to achieve cost competitiveness. Well versed in SAP MM Module & Microsoft office. Monthly department MIS preparation.
