As an elementary-aged kid, I was a dreamer and creator. I was always on the lookout for something I could make and sell. I found myself dreaming of things that were needed but hadn't been invented, like a washing machine that would automatically transfer the clothes to the dryer and start the cycle on its own. It was at this age I knew I wanted to learn the mechanics of how products actually worked.After completing several courses towards my mechanical engineering degree, I truly fell in love with product development. This love has driven me to begin to innovate products on my own and as part of several teams. Creating, transferring, or controlling energy are topics that also excite me. Circuits govern our world. It's the foundation to almost any technology, and of course, circuits would be nothing without energy to power them. Fascinated with how electronics were powered, my younger self would take them apart in an attempt to figure out how it worked, only to be surprised when they no longer did! Since then, I have found myself in the top of my mechatronics classes and undertaking projects outside of course work. I would love to enter a field that broadens my knowledge of energy and circuitry and allows me to create. When I’m not designing or doing math, I’m a league-ready bowler, sci-fi movie lover, and lucky husband/father of two crazy boys!
