* Responsible for the P & L of the Communications and Digital business units.* Leads the Outside Plant Build and Service, Engineering, Customer Contact Center, and Operations Staff teams.* Project Manager for Smithville's $90 M Fiber to the Home deployment* Plans and directs all aspects of Smithville's operational day-to-day service, objectives, and initiatives. * Responsible for the attainment of short- and long-term financial and operational goals. * Participates in the strategic development of Smithville to ensure future growth.

As General Manager, Communications, Bart will oversee the Plant, Warehouse, Engineering, Network Operations and the Customer Contact Center. Until other arrangements are finalized, Bart will continue with his duties in the Digital division.

* Lead the new business unit dedicated to providing Network Fiber Solutions, including point to point and ring connections up to 10 Gbs, high speed internet, and dark fiber to Enterpise Business outside of Smithville Telephone's traditional serving area.* Grow business into 26 markets and manage contracts, pricing, build projects, and P & L for Digital business unit.

Responsible for Engineering Team, and leadership of all outside Telephone activities, Installation, Repair, Dispatch, Construction, and Splicing.
