Later, he became a certified Commercial Diving Instructor. His experience also included some years as the National Sales Manager for Viking USA. At Viking USA, Bart worked with the Navy Experimental Diving Unit designing various types of drysuits. He also trained 5th and 10th Special Forces in the use of drysuits for infiltration and ex-filtration situations.After leaving Viking USA, Bart owned his own diving contracting company working in the New York Harbor area. At this time he started a diving equipment and related materials distribution company. Always trying to find a better solution for divers, he founded Volcano Technologies and received a patent on an underwater cutting rod.In 1993, Bart founded Rockwater Manufacturing Corporation, a manufacturer and supplier of fiberglass forms (jackets) for the marine construction and repair market. In 2006, he founded Rockwater Gulf Coast and opened the Ashland, Mississippi manufacturing plant for marine fiberglass structures and manufacturing of other commercial diving related equipment
