• Notebook AC/DC adapter research and development - Circuit design, components placement, PCB layout review and improvement. - Executing validation plan: functions, protections, efficiency, acoustic noise, thermal, EMC, safety, and components stress test. - Solving EMC, acoustic noise, thermal issue. Improving no load / light load input consumptions, and average efficiency to meet customer requirements and energy regulations. - BOM maintenance, 2nd source evaluation and validations, cost reduction plan. - Cross-functional communication and debugging DFX issues. - Designed Dell 30W, HP 40W/65W/90W, Apple 45W adapter.
