Additional responsibilities were added, including people management. I also managed a team of near shore subcontractors. I report to the head of product. On top of this, I actively assisted in developing a plan and strategy to move our business model into a SaaS model.

Netaxis is a startup/scale up in the telecom industry that helps large enterprises and service providers to build and manage complex communication services and solutions. We are mainly active in the UC industry where we integrate solutions from Oracle, Cisco, Broadsoft, Microsoft, Ribbon, Audiocodes and others. Customers included several tier 1 and tier 2 service providers in Western Europe, Africa and the Middle East.I took up product management responsibilities for 2 in house built software products: one focussing on call routing while the other was focussing on API integration & process automation.As a product manager I was responsible to, based on a thorough understanding of the market and feedback of customers, construct and execute a compelling and future proof roadmap that drives the expansion of our company. Besides this, I took care of most marketing and pre-sales/sales material as well as the pricing strategy. I was heavily solicited both in pre-sales as well as sales activities and provide active support in RFP processes.

The enterprise cloud division of Proximus delivers ICT solutions and services to medium and large enterprises in Belgium, either located on premise as well as housed or hosted in one of the Proximus TIER 3 datacenters or on the public cloud (Microsoft Azure).As product manager I was assigned with several productsResponsabilities included- the development of a vision, strategy & roadmap for the products assigned to me, based on market analysis, industry trends and customer feedback.- Product Lifecyclemanagement was obviously an important aspect (from concept to launch, enhancement & outphasing)- Sales & presales enablement : deliver all product documentation for Sales & presales (presentations , contractual service descriptions, trainings, visit customers)- Develop a successfull G2M plan and activate Sales Channels

I managed a team of 7 FTEs. My team was responsible for the bring into service of new products and projects on the fixed voice IMS platform of Proximus. We actively participated in all projects which impacted the fixed voice IMS platform from design until implementation in the live network. We guaranteed the smooth transition from engineering to operational mode and assure all functional and non-functional requirements are met. As part of the operational team we also used our profound end-2-end knowledge of the network during incidents and other expert support. Crisis management was daily business.As team manager I was able to also further develop my non-technical skills like recruitment, coaching, budget forecasting, etc.

The Fixed Voice Operations team is responsible for the operational management of all Fixed Voice solutions at Belgacom: legacy TDM technology, residential VoIP solutions, SIP Trunking & unified communication. The role of the team was to introduce new technologies in the live network while assuring and maintaining end-to-end availability of all our supported voice services.I focused on VoIP solutions & projects for the residential market.

The Management traineeship at Proximus provides young potentials the opportunity to get familiar with the company by means of 3 projects of 6 months in different (technical) divisions of the company. I participated in the following assignments:- 1st project: challenging and analysing VDSL2 access technology- 2nd project: study on the quality of the Belgacom VoIP service over the ethernet backbone- 3th project: active participation in the project preparing a commercial relaunch of VoIP as residential telephony solution
