Functional and Operational End Responsibility of all Testing activities within the HC IITS Division. Managing successfully a team of 100+ FTE’s, distributed over different sides and multi-culture. Part of the Leadership Team, reporting to the VP IITS and involved in determining the short-long term Strategy of the Division. Significant contribution to the successful Launch of a new Healthcare Platform to the market (Enterprise Imaging). Consolidated all Test Methods and Teams into one Team applying a Common, Effective and Efficient process, including the transition from a Waterfall Development model to an Agile Development Model. Set-up a new "Application Team", representing the Customer in Requirements setting, Validation activities and support of complex installations and involved training.

Operational responsibility of all aspects of System Integration of Components & Solutions provided by the HealthCare IT Portfolio. Liaison between the different functions (Product Mgt, Service, Development and Testing) in Requirement setting, Development, Testing and Launching of new and existing Solutions. Support to the Local and Regional Sales and Service Organizations in launching the new Components and Solutions to the market. Extended Support of new and complex installations. Support to the Local and Regional Site Mgrs in covering the functional needs in terms of people, infrastructure, budget, etc…

Additonal responsibility on top of the position of 'Head of System Integration'. Representing the 'Agfa Europe Subsidiary' within the global organization on all aspects (people, housing, contacts, contracts, ...). Liaison and coach between the different functions and their HQ contacts.

Active participation in the start-up of a new subsidiary with a dedicated focus on the European Business. Part of the Leadership Team, reporting to the VP Agfa Europe and setting the short-long term Business Strategy. Full responsibility of Testing and Launching of new Solutions to the field, consisting of own Agfa and 3rd party components. Liaison between Agfa and the 3rd party in setting Requirements, handling feedback on Testing and Launch of Solutions to the Field. Successful introduction of a new Platform Exchanging Medical Images and Reports within a Radiology department.
