As a Senior Associate with Asset Performance Networks, based out of the company's office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, I am involved in Turnaround Consulting for clients in the Europe, Middle-East and Africa region. Before that, I spent almost 20 years in projects and turnarounds, both in operational positions as project manager as well as in consulting roles. My experience extends to both upstream and downstream operations, with a focus on multidisciplinary team integration and process design and optimization.Prior to joining AP-Networks, I worked as a self-employed project manager and turnaround consultant for nearly a decade, being contracted by several major petrochemical and power companies, including Shell, E-On, and Total. This followed ten years working as a project and turnaround manager for a major engineering and turnaround services provider.Throughout my career, I have been involved in the development and implementation of various work processes and work management tools. In addition I have designed, restructured, and optimized work planning and scheduling processes, work management systems, training materials and protocols for maintenance and operations crews, maintenance plans, a tool for project portfolio management, and supported the implementation of a global SAP system. In addition to these efforts, I have overseen a diverse range of projects and turnarounds from initiation through post-event evaluation.
