Manage a group of quality inspectors in the operations of both composite fabrication pre-cure and post cure assembly

Performed management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families. Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies. Provide education and coaching on the Quality System. Acquire and manage resources and leads process improvements. Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports. Manage, develop and motivate employees. Applies in-depth understanding of budget management principles and practices to develop and administer project or operating budgets. Hold direct reports accountable for achieving goals.Additionally:Recognize contributions of individuals and teams to improve employee satisfaction and retain a skilled and motivated workforce. Kept others informed by communicating project status, conducting and participating in team meetings, providing presentations and listening to employee concerns and suggestions. Communicate policies and directives to enhance employee awareness of expectations. Implement policies, procedures and documents to ensure consistent execution of processes within workgroup in support of Boeing and regulatory requirements. Develop project or operational plans aligned to department's objectives. Implement plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved. Assign authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the plan. Review plans' execution, makes appropriate adjustments, and resolves issues. Monitor appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan. Forecast resource needs and obtains and manages personnel, facilities, services, equipment and tools to meet project and daily operating requirements. Ensure workgroup products or processes meet customer, company, quality, industry and regulatory requirements.

Performed inspections on commercial, private and military aircraft. This included inspections in composite fabrication, assembly and paint operations.
