Petrosigns is a global modelling suite, aiming to improve subsurface insights and development decision-making. It combines two market solutions: JewelSuite (static modelling, incorporated as PetroSigns Earth) and CoFlow (dynamic modelling, PetroSigns Flow), which are being developed in partnership with BHGE and CMG respectively.PetroSigns Fusion, developed by Shell, ties the two products, with proprietary add-on, together enabling end-to-end uncertainty management and related work flows in one application.In close contact with stakeholders we resolved bugs and added features to satisfy business requirements. This included relying more on CoFlow and removing functionality that was duplicated across both applications resulting in unnecessary complications.While developing we tried to follow Test Driven Development and applying SOLID and clean code principles.

VDL ETS creates software solutions for buses (and coaches). Many solutions involve the interaction with ECUs using the CAN-Bus protocol. VDL ETS also supports diagnostics features for its buses It provides a local (in-bus) solution. Here, technicians are able to get access to the ECU devices on the CAN-Bus, read variables and make changes.The diagnostics app is made available by one special ECU, over Wi-Fi. This ECU is a Linux/Debian 32-bit ARM device with limited resources and limited access.The current implementation has an UI that connects directly to a backend application, MDT2, which exposes CAN-bus communication. This architecture is heavily dependent on the suppliers implementation and comes with various limitations so certain requirements cannot be implemented or only implemented with the help of the MDT2 manufacturer.To solve this, and allow for future expension of the features, a middleware layer is introduced. Creating this middleware layer is the assignment. The middleware layer is written in multitier architecture using ASP.Net Core. It uses Websocket for the connections.

Ik heb gewerkt aan het Routevision platform. Dit software platform wordt gebruikt om afvalcontainer, waarin sensoren zitten die de vulgraad meten, beheer te doen en intelligente routes te berekenen op basis van de vulgraden om deze afvalcontainers te legen. Mijn rol in dit project was het acteren als scrummaster en daarnaast ook de product owner & consultants te ondersteunen in het coordineren van support naar het team toe. Daarnaast heb ik als software engineer bijgedragen aan het uitbreiden van product features.
