As a subject matter expert in artificial lift methods (plunger lift, rod pump, cap string, pcp, etc…) I worked with Chevron employees throughout the Midcontinent Business Unit to help optimize production and troubleshoot production short falls.•Instrumental in adopting Lean Sigma processes in plunger lift optimization by overseeing well candidates selections, installation of sub-surface and surface equipment in Wyoming, Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma•Played a major role in partnership with Chevron’s Energy Technology Group in developing a new sub-subsurface artificial lift tool and eventually secured a patent•Personally conducted training courses each month for Horizon (new hire) Engineers and Field Personell in plunger lift methods and capillary string injection at Chevron’s Midland Training Center•Work closely with slick line/swab rig operations throughout Business Unitto help determine proper artificial lift method

Managed team structured work groups consisting of 22 employees to operate various oil and gas leases in the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles. Ensured safe and productive work to optimize production. •Reduced lifting cost by 20% by installing pump off controllers on many units throughout the area. •Supervised remedial wellwork which included acid jobs, deepenings, coil tubing cleanouts, fishing, and plugging.•Managed $1.2 MM yearly expense budget and $300M capital investment projects.•Implemented Reliability Engineering principles throughout Panhandle Area.

As the RE Driver, part of my responsibilities included conducting root cause failure anaylsis on all sub-surface and surface failures. Worked closely with production engineers and field operation employees to help identify repeat failures, secure and empliment plans to eliminate or reduce failure modes, and conduct follow up meetings to ensure success.

Oversee and implement the drilling and completion process of the Granite Wash Drilling Program. This involved selecting well candidates, filing State Regulatory permits, overseeing material acquisitions, scheduling logging procedures, performing on site drill well sitting for geologic interpretation for selection of production casing set points.•Facilitated compressor reliability and improvement design for 7 deep gas wells which resulted in a 98% run time efficiency.•Provided workover recommendations to maintain and/or increase production•Responsible for all government - OSHA regulatory filings (SARA TITLE III, SPCC, OPA)
