Making use of different sample introduction techniques (thermally assisted hydrolysis methylation (TMH)-pyrolysis, dynamic headspace, thermal desorption, liquid injection using S/SL or PTV injector).Identification of unknown components using mass spectrometric (MS) detection techniques using normal electron ionization (EI), chemical ionization (CI), and Direct Insertion Probe (DIP).Responsible for investments in new highend GC-MS equipment.

Responsible for the chemical emission measurements, and for the required analysis instruments. Measurement of volatile organic components (VOC’s) using gas chromatography equipped with a thermal desorption system and mass spectrometric detection.Development of new measuring methods for determination of volatile components, using alternative absorbent materials and HPLC with UV/PDA detection. Development of measurement methods using thermal desorption and GC-MS, in accordance to external standards (ECMA 328, ISO28360).
