Within my role I engage in various activities:- Project manager of several projects developing and improving business statistics and new indicators for the European Green Deal- Coordinator of the short term business statistics (STS) to the European Commission (Eurostat). As STS coordinator I represent the Netherlands in European Working Groups and Task Force Meetings regarding the STS.- Senior Researcher on several projects. Expertise in programming with R, business statistics, economics, and nowcasting.- Technical assistance to developing countries. Currently, I lead a technical assistance to two countries to further develop the short-term business statistics of those countries.

I had various roles, among which:- Project manager of several projects, among which: in 2022Q4 i obtained two grants (responsible from beginning to end) from the European Commission (Eurostat) to implement two projects in 2023: - Microdata Linking of the Structural Business Statistics (SBS) with Innovation Data, - Microdata Linking to make New Energy Statistics for the European Green Deal- Member of the coordination group for the European Green Deal (EGD): this internal group coordinates the EGD activities at CBS.- Coordinator of the short term business statistics (STS) to the European Commission (Eurostat).- Researcher on several projects. Main project was to convert the quarterly turnover statistics to monthly frequency by using several econometric techniques (nowcasting, imputation, benchmarking) and R-programming.

My current responsibilities within the Economic Development division are:• Empirical research and technical assistance to governments within the region regarding macro-economics, international capital flows, and economic growth and development.• Generate quarterly forecasts of annual real GDP growth in 9 countries in Latin America.• The development, implementation, and automatization of statistical models for economic forecasts and policy research.• Expert contributions to publications, presentations, and workshops of the organisation with respect to econometrics/statistics, international economics, and economic growth and development in Latin America and the Caribbean. • Responsible for the quality of the semi-annual reports of the latest macro-economic developments in the Caribbean.

• Applied research on several subjects such as international capital flows, investment, productivity, and economic growth and development. • Monitoring the latest developments in the global economy and analyze the potential impact on the region. • Assisting the director of the economic development division on technical assistance to governments, interviews, presentations, international meetings, publications, and policy advice.

• Answering all substantive questions of the call agents regarding mortgages and policies of the ING.• Assessing the quality of the appointments made by the call agents.
