Bart Le Blanc is a member of the Supervisory Board of APG Asset Management, the Dutch pension fund investment manager.Le Blanc was one of the founding partners of Andreas Capital, a regulated investment management company in Luxembourg, where he continues to serve as a non-executive director. He also chairs of the board of Z3 Capital in Geneva, a Finma licensed investment manager. Bart Le Blanc studied economics at the University of Tilburg, and holds a PhD in Law of the University of Leyden.Bart's first professional position was at the Office of the Prime Minister in the Netherlands in the social and economic affairs advisory team. He later became deputy secretary of the Council of Ministers. In the 1980s he was appointed Director General of the Budget at the Ministry of Finance. Subsequently Le Blanc joined the private bank Van Lanschot and served on its the Executive Board.At the creation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London 1991, he was appointed as its first Secretary General and later Vice President .In 1997 he joined La Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) in Paris as Director, International Finance. Between 2004 and 2011 he was CFO of URENCO, headquartered in Marlow, UK.Since the early 2000s he has served on the board of the Dutch public sector pension fund ABP till 2014, and subsequently on the supervisory boards of APG (2014-2018) and APG Asset Management (current).He is a Dutch national and lives in France.
