My name is Jame “Bart” Maas. In the Seattle area I am known as Bart. Below you will find a short Bio and cover letter. It is imposable in this letter to cover the multitude training, education and learning that I have done over the years, some has been in the classroom but much has occurred on the job in the trenches where what worked yesterday is obsolete today. I am a career Automotive professional with over 20 years in retail automotive management. As of recent I have been GSM of Bellevue Nissan and developed all new processes in conjunction with the facility move to Eastgate way in Bellevue WA. From 2010 to 2015 I worked with Barrier Porsche as their Pre Owned manager where we became the #1 per-unit gross and net profit dealership Porsche Dealership in the nation on pre- owned Porsche vehicles. Between 2007 and 2010 I was tasked with opening and reorganizing 2 Honda dealerships in the northwest. I had the rare opportunity to open 1 brand new facility and to build and open the another from blue prints to the hiring of each and every employee. Both of these were done in the hight of the recession and the challenges and achievements will forever be blazed in my memories as one of pride. As a start up we were profitable within 60 days and were #3 in zone volume within 90 days. Prior to that I was minority dealer partner at Eastside Chrysler Jeep where after my arrival we became the #1 volume Chrysler Jeep dealership in the zone for 5 consecutive years. Resold the dealership in July of 2007. Over the years I have studied the automotive industry with all of its changes, ups and downs yet there has always been one constant, dealerships don't run themselves and must be navigated to succeed, and thats what I do, I lead by example and hold strong against the head winds and currents that are always present in our industry.
