During my academic career, I enjoy doing research for the benefit of others. That is why I am very proud that my PhD project is on serious game training to improve upper limb prosthesis control. With our research I hope to better the lives of all current and future arm prosthesis users and in that way have an impact on the rehabiliation landscape as it is today.In my PhD, I needed to perform multiple data analyses and interpret the results to eventually publish our findings in a scientific journal. In the next step in my career I hope to continue developing and using these data analysis, data science and communication (both written and verbal) skills in a way to provide positive impact to those who need it. Ideally this will be done in a motivated and innovative team of professionals where we can tackle difficult to solve problems in an effective manner.
