CurrentLead an agile development team and provide technical direction for large complex projects Serve as a technical resource for business partners to recommend solutions and ensures our technology standards and processes are maintained Accurately estimate work items and delegates those work items to both onsite and third-party Serve as a mentor the development team and leads code reviewsDesign and lead a team creating Spring Boot microservices to meet new business needs as well as to migrate our monolithic web services.Created the framework for a new Cypress.io based automated functional test suite for the developers to utilize and build on to. Serve as the defect management representative for the team and provides technical insight to the issue as well as ensure the defects are worked and closed out in the appropriate deadlines Create and modify internal business/technical controls to ensure we are in compliance with government regulations and work with internal auditors to provide technical insight to ensure successful audits Create new QA standards for our team by making full use of qTest to manage all our test cases for features and defects we are working on. Improve on the existing Selenium test suit by implementing SauceLabs instead of maintaining an internal Selenium hub and node to reduce the amount of maintenance required by the team. This also allowed the team to test against multiple browsers in multiple operating systems and record video of each test run. Create and document plans, proposals and instructional guides in the internal wiki for the team to collaborate with. Reaching out to the company wide collaboration channels on Slack to keep up to date with the latest technologies and tools, help other employees in different teams with issues as well as reach out to other teams to quickly resolve issues we encounter.
