Achievements: bringing structure and organisation in the federation, connecting to governmental organisations to obtain support and willingness in favour of insects as a new industry, establishing collaboration between (EU) stakeholders, managing 3 Novel Food applications on edible insects submitted by the BiiF.

Responsible & accountable for various projects & topics: i) member of core design team for basic engineering of Generation 1 insect factories, ii) responsible for technology transfer in feasibility studies for different locations, iii) managing overall HVAC design for insect factory, iv) design, installation & coordination of infrastructure & technical installations (Turnhout Plant)

Responsible for various projects & topics e.g.:iv) managing of & reporting on EFRO project Kempen Insect Cluster, v) managing move to new location: scouting locations, ending existing renting contractvi) installation of all equipment & infrastructure on new location, negotiations on new renting contracts

Daily management of BenSBugS (excl. product development and production). Responsibilities are related to sales & marketing activities, finance & fund raising, HR (e.g. recruiting staff, students & consultants) and business administration of BenSBugS as a company. Managing the social and economic fabric around BenSBugS.
