Primary duties involve laying out PCBs. Maintaining a working database for all PCB components which involves making footprints and schematic symbols. Working with PCB suppliers.

Develop PCB Assemblies for air bubble sensor, level sensor, and medical pumps (enteral, infusion and pain medication). Have miniaturized several PCB Assemblies to fit within the air bubble sensor and level sensor housings. Design PCB Assemblies to fit within complicated mechanical enclosures. Experience with making PCB Assemblies that will withstand encapsulation in epoxies.Develop and maintain PCB Libraries for symbols used in schematic capture and layout at the Moog Medical facility in Salt Lake City.Create and maintain documentation related to PCB Assemblies (Assembly, Bill of Materials, Fabrication and Schematics). Experienced with handling RoHS and obsolete components.Interface with PCB assembly manufacturers in handling fabrication and streamlining of PCB assembly processes.Design and create PCB Assemblies for testing in manufacturing on product. This includes complete test fixture designs.Tools - Oscilloscope, Function Generators, Digital Multimeters, LCR.Software - Cadence/Allegro, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Adobe.

Develop new ultrasonic air bubble detectors based on customer requirements. Sustaining engineering on current products.Manage entire development process from feasibility through design inputs, outputs, design transfer to manufacturing, and product sustaining in manufacturing (Including device assembly instructions, product testing, trouble shooting, and handling and resolving customer complaints) . Software - Cadence, Word, Excel, AutoCAD

Developed software that enabled communication between automated warehousing equipment and the overall master controlling system.This development involved several months of prelimary programming in-house followed by several months of on-site programming to get all the automated equipment working together with the master controlling software. Followed by 24/7 support.Implemented automated warehousing software into the following industry: food, books, auto parts, silicon (including clean room).
