The Waterkeeper Membership Services Team will play a crucial role in connecting, strengthening and activating the organization’s Waterkeeper group membership base and their primary focus is to provide value to members, be the first line of contact, enhance their experience, and ensure their continued engagement and support. The team will be structured in two parts, Waterkeeper Experience and Movement Building.

The Energy and Climate Team aids in the community-wide education and communication of energy efficiency opportunities that minimize greenhouse gas generation and to monitor and lead energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reduction initiatives. The Team also provides recommendations to the Missoula City Council Conservation Committee on topics such as:Building efficiency strategiesMunicipal government operationsRenewable energyRecyclingTracking energy useTransportation

Serve on the Board of Directors of the Eastern Washington University Alumni Association.

Spokane Riverkeeper is a program of the Center for Justice which is a Spokane-based legal advocacy organization. Spokane Riverkeeper is dedicated to protecting and restoring the health of the Spokane River watershed. By collaborating, educating, and, when necessary, litigating, Riverkeeper work to preserve the Spokane River’s health now and for the future. As director of the program I manage interns, externs & volunteers, fulfill the organization’s strategic plan, maintain program budget and work monthly to reconcile expenses with accountant. I work on visioning and implementing programs including water quality monitoring, watershed restoration and communication and outreach efforts.

Started and maintained an environmental issues and reporting blog through The Spokesman-Review called Down To Earth and provided content and creative direction for the blog and eventual website and newspaper print insert.

Managed communication between the executive team, the merchandise buyers, the marketing department and the creative department to create and execute online marketing strategies.
