Sterke Stroming is a small business which I run with 1 of my friends. Sterke Stroming is an advertising and (creative) communications business. We design and realize online as well as offline products, such as: websites, banners, posters, flyers, brochures, etc. Nowadays we really focus on online solutions and develop software that can be integrated in websites.

Solution consultant in the field of data sciences with a focus on the world wide web. Responsible for taking in the business requirements and the technical implementation. Activities involve data creation, data processing, data management and data analysis.

A2koi is a company that sells koi fishes in Kerkdriel, The Netherlands. They own a showroom and a webshop. During my internship, I started a database of the webshop (Magento) on which I did data mining / data analysis for my Msc thesis. The data is related to sales data and product data. This data was used to predict a customer's probability to buy across product categories. These probabilities were used to develop segmentation and targeting strategies on the company's mailing lists. During my internship I also did a lot of back end work on the webshop, for example adding new products and determining sales prices of the products.

This was an internship where I was coordinating and organizing an event for immigrants in Tilburg. During this 2 week event, we organized several workshops, for example learning how to work with computers and language courses. At this internship I wrote the thesis for my bachelor's degree, and my responsibility was to develop a sponsor plan on how to acquire sponsors that would support us for a longer time. I actively approached sponsors and developed sponsor propositions that meet their and our business goals.

I did my first internship for my bachelor's degree at Dynamo. I did a research on how to develop marketing plans for different events / concerts and how we could reach the target group. The main focus was on the website of Dynamo and how we could develop a website that would fit the needs of customers.
